"Surrender or be destroyed." Came the speaker. Ivanova listened impassively, her expression growing more stern as a cold anger welled from within.
She turned to the crew, "Put me on with him... and give me firing control." A small beep indicated her com was active. "This is the Whitestar fleet. Negative on surrender. We will not stand down."
"Who is this? Identify yourself." The opposing captain demanded, even as the shadow ships and the whitestars closed distances.
"Who am I? I am Susan Ivanova. Commander. Daughter of Aundrey and Sophi Ivanov. I am the right-hand of vengence, and the boot that is going to kick you sorry ass all the way back to Earth, sweetheart. I am death incanrnate, and the last living thing that you are ever going to see.
God sent me."
And then she toggled the plasma cannons and opened fire.
