Weirdly enough it felt like the start of Ouran all over again with being freshmen to the college and as prestige was it was Hikaru wasn't sure how he felt about it. He wanted to attend it but now that it was a reality he was balking a bit. There were a lot of people he didn't know and while he had worked on being a little nicer to other students at Ouran he could feel his old self try to settle back into place.

It was a little easier to retreat into those ways, even if it was just orientation for the buildings to start. Soon he'd have to actually interact with his fellow students and professors.

He folded his arms behind his head, his eyes drifting away from the group as he eyed some of the common areas outside. They were prank-worthy and would require extra stealth to successfully pull anything off with so many people. But that was half the fun with the extra challenge and his mind was already trying to plan out the possibilities.

Kaoru was trying to take the orientation seriously, even if he was getting bored. The other Hitachiin looked from building-to-building, person-to-person... but in the end, the most interesting thing he saw was Hikaru.

There was a brief moment, but in the end, Kaoru slung his arm into Hikaru's linking them together. For some reason... that made things a lot better. He leaned into his twin, murmuring in his ear.

"Is it just me, or the rest of the tour group falling sleep on this guy, too?" The guide at front was currently droning on about the history of a particular dormitory--not one they were planning on staying in.

Hikaru reluctantly tore his gaze away from the common areas, looking at the guide for a split moment before looking away in disinterest. He hoped there wasn't something at the end of the tour that required them to recall what they were told because he hadn't been paying much attention.

"Couple of them look like they're hanging on every word. Not sure how they can."

He doubted that most of the students would remember everything that was said and where everything was so it felt like a pointless exercise.

"Lets ditch this place." Kaoru gave his brother's arm a couple of tugs, but he didn't bother lowering his voice. A couple of students towards the back glance at them as he continued. "How the hell am I supposed to pay attention to his joke of a tour? I'm starving, Hikaru."

"It's not like we're being graded on this anyway. We can read up on this boring rubbish later."

Hikaru spared the guide a glance as he lowered his arms, making sure he was too busy talking to realize that he was losing part of his group before the twin pulled Kaoru away from the tour around one of the buildings.

"That was torture! Who cares who stayed in that dormitory? It's not like they're in there now."

"They shouldn't be wasting our time with a tour when we could be preparing for tomorrow. We haven't even finished unpacking yet and classes start tomorrow!" Kaoru looked upwards to the sky. He had other things on his mind too. Did this mean they'd have to try ad make new friends? But why...?

It would be so easy... to go back to how things used to be...

"Sucks that everyone decided to go to different schools."

"No kidding. Could you imagine Kyouya-senpai having to get up early for this? That tour guide would be toast."

Though now that he thought about it Hikaru really didn't want to see Kyouya in one those rare moods again. It was frightening, even if it proved remotely entertaining to see the boring situation shaken up.

"A lot of these students seem really dull. All work and no play."
